Mob Menagerie: Bat

Bats were added to Minecraft in the Pretty Scary Update in October 2012, alongside a few other spooky features, like witches, withers, pumpkin pies, and – spookiest of all – anvils. When they were originally introduced they were a little annoying because they could activate pressure plates and trample crops, but that got a quick fix from our dev team. Thanks devs!
